My sister is 12, and to her I quote the wisdom of the great Taylor Swift: "Oh darling, don't you ever grow up". Because when you do, there are always people to meet, lists to make, things to accomplish. As Jay Gatsby once said, "so we beat on, boats against the current..." lol jk I'm just being sarcastic now. But really, within the sarcasm lies some amount of truth! While I do like being busy (it's much better than being bored), every now and then it is necessary to pause. Drawing lets me do that- rejuvenate and refocus.
Among other things, I used willow charcoal, which makes very light wispy lines. If you use willow charcoal to draw and then run your hand over the drawing, the lines will literally vanish- leaving at most a faint trace on your paper (it's almost magical).
